T-Systems attending PMRExpo 2011

In November 2011 T-Systems International attended the PMRExpo in Cologne, Germany, and presented the radio network planning tool PegaPlan.

PMRExpo has firmly established itself as the annual meeting place for companies and organizations involved in professional mobile radio (PMR), terrestrial trunked radio (Tetra) as well as command and control centers.

This year’s event took place from November 22 to 24 at the Cologne Trade Fair.

2011’s event attracted about 3.000 executives and visitors, bringing together the leaders of the entire TETRA ecosystem: the Federal Agency for Digital Radio of Security Authorities and Organizations, local public transport authorities, public utilities, municipalities as well as original equipment manufacturers.

As in previous years, T-Systems attended the event as exhibitor. The stand hosted technical equipment to give a real-life demonstration of the radio network planning tool PegaPlan. Existing and potential customers came to take a glance at the software – to see how it works, to experience how it navigates and to understand the technology behind it.

One of our PegaPlan-experts guided the visitors through the software and explained the main functions.

Features such as the latest release, propagation models and the 3D-visualization component were of particular interest.

PegaPlan did not only attract attention among the existing customers but also among new ones from the public sector and the industry.
