PegaPlan 6.2 – New release with improved features for all RAT
While many existin
g features have undergone improvements on a small scale to meet the customers’ needs even better, specific emphasis has been put on the enhancement of functionality.
By doing so, all technologies (GMS, Tetra, UMTS and LTE) have been considered within the scope of the latest release.
In particular, the process of passing calls between different technologies has been enhanced, i.e. its functionality now allows a better capacity planning.
Managing networks consisting of multiple technologies becomes more and more crucial to network operators.
PegaPlan 6.2 supports operators by providing information about the following aspects:
- Which technology covers what areas?
- What is the largest throughput that can possibly be achieved?
- Where are the related cells involved and which technology provides this service?
Another focus has been put on the introduction of multiband antenna support in PegaPlan 6.2. Modern radio networks consist of radio cells based on different radio access technologies (RATs) using the same physical antenna.
Thanks to its further development, PegaPlan is able to meet the customers’ demands and to keep up with latest technology standards.
