Roads

Digital road network is used for visualization, for WEB-applications, for different analyses and for computations of radio network planning in PegaPlan.

In the street network all streets are captured. 90% of Germany and 99% of the populated area is fully attributed. For example information about road numbers and roadnames, restrictions of traffic, signpost information along motorways is indicated.

The digital data does not only contain road geometry, but is rather a complex vector data product. Maps on vector basis can be provided and factual information e.g.: "Points of Interest" can be used for purposes of analysis.

Apart from the use as guideline assistance in maps of different topics road data wins therefore a ever greater importance also with analyses for marketing and sales.
